MAUREEN MATTSON AWARD

The following student-athletes have been honored by their respective schools for representing the ideals of Unified Sports and the values that Maureen Mattson has embodied. Each of the students listed were selected by the coaches at their respective schools for their passion and commitment to Unified Athletics.  Maureen was instrumental in the growth and development of the Unified program within our league. 

Along with Dr. Steve Amaro, Maureen was a catalyst that promoted the values of participation, sportsmanship, camaraderie and athletic inclusion with our general education athletes and their special needs peers. The Unified Sports platform offers a tremendous opportunity to connect special need students with their school communities.
